From 24 to 26 November 2025, APPEC – AstroParticle Physics European Consortium will be organising the event “APPEC Tech Forum – Vacuum & Cryogenics – Industry meets Academia”. 

This Tech Forum will take place in Maastricht. Various universities, institutes, and associations are involved in the organisation: IUVSTA, NEVAC, Deutsche Vakuum-Gesellschaft e.V., Universiteit Maastricht, Nikhef (National Institute for Subatomic Physics), and Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT).

The programme is under development, but with the people involved, it is sure to be an excellent programme. On the final day, there will be an opportunity to visit#ETPathfinder, a R&D facility for the development and testing of technologies for the next generation gravitational wave observatory.
