Annual ETpathfinder Workshop brings together scientists from 8 countries
Every year the ETpathfinder team comes together for an annual workshop to look back at the accomplishments of the previous years and to plan for the upcoming year. This years workshop took place on the 23rd and 24th of March.
About 90 scientists from partner institutions from 8 countries (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, the UK, Poland and Czech Republic) came together in Maastricht for fruitful discussions. Highlights included reports from the commissioning activities around the beam splitter tower, the off-location installation of the injection tower, kick-off of a new workpackage on simulations, the planning for the first cryogenic mirror tower as well as ambitions to further develop ETpathfinder in the long run into a validation and integration center (ET-LFC).
